Mom Peine's (Janice) Birthday Celebration Weekend, Vero Beach, Fl, October 6-7

We had a delightful weekend together celebrating a wonderful woman!

As you can probably figure out from the above picture, it was very windy over the weekend. Breanna was giving her daddy lots of kisses while we were all enjoying the ocean and wind on the dock.

Celebration family conference in High Springs, FL, October 18-21

Round table discussion at the lodge. From left, Mark, Matt, Eric, Brian, Rob, and Tim. We stayed in a "mini lodge" with three other families. The conference meetings were held morning and evening and included hundreds of people from around various Sovereign Grace Churches in Florida. The theme of this year's Celebration was Reconciliation. We had a wonderful time of fellowship and teaching.

Some fabulous rock skipping on Green Briar Mountain. The river was a bit low so the rocks were highly exposed. The kids said this day was their favorite day of the camping trip.

Happy Birthday Breanna!

She brushed her teeth about 6 times on her birthday with her new battery powered toothbrush. Goal accomplished! :-)

We had a last minute Slip 'n' Slide party in the front yard. We all enjoyed cake, watermelon, and pink lemonade in the 100 degree weather.

We used plenty of dish soap and water to pick up speed down the 50' long sheet of plastic. A running start made it even better!

We had so much rain this week and the kids had a blast running around in it. I (Michelle) remember just loving to run in the rain as a child. I thought it felt "Delicious"!

Matthew is a great big brother and Sarah loves him dearly.

Sarah and I (along with my sister Krista) visited our grandparents in Wisconsin in March. The snow was just beautiful!

Olivia has always enjoyed picking flowers so this is like a dream come true for her.

Breanna likes to play house and dress up in all sorts of different ways. The blocks are her version of "brownies" that she enjoys serving to us all.

Sarah Grace is really enjoying the corn-on-the-cob experience with Daddy. Olivia likes to play "house" with Sarah Grace and use a basket for a crib. Sarah loves it! Olivia's first independent bike ride! She told me it is one of her favorite things to do.
